Average Salary Puzzle

Eight software engineers are sipping coffee at cafe coffee day. They wish to compute their average salary. However, nobody is willing to reveal  information about his/her own salary to anybody else and they can not ask salary directly/indirectly to any other employee. How do they do it?

    Take an empty box. Each individual needs to pay their coffee bill based on their salary. They should keep their amount into the box(without anyone's notice)
    For example, assume the total coffee bill for everyone is 8*100=800 Rupees. if salary if E1 is 8 lakhs, hee needs to add 8/- into the box. if E2 salary is 13 lakhs, he needs to add 13/- into the box. The box is given to the coffee shop owner.
    1. If the change returned by the owner of coffee shop is X, Their average salary is (800+X)/8
    2. If the remaining change demanded by the owner is X, Their average salary is (800-X)/8

chm viewer unable to show contents

In Windows Applications, we use chm file for help contents or for documentations. But we sometimes we are not able to see any contents in chm viewer. While it works fine on another systems. How to solve that: 1. Open command prompt and run as administrator. 2. go to location where chm file is located. 3.  input the file name (xxx.chm) and click on enter. It should work fine. Another way to do. 1. Right click on chm file. 2. Go to properties. 3. Select the Unblock option.

3 prisoners and 5 hats puzzle
